Dale Brown To Announce Anti-Incumbent, Citizen Participation Campaign for the Alabama State House of Representatives District 94
Baldwin County, AL – March 3, 2010 – Long time Baldwin county resident, combat veteran, and small business owner, Dale Brown will officially announce his candidacy for the Alabama House of Representatives (district 94) on March 9, 2010. Brown is a fiscal conservative, pro-gun, small business advocate, states’ rights supporter and staunch constitutionalist, who will take a high profile stand for the working citizens and municipalities of Baldwin County against entrenched, incumbent career politicians and the special interest groups they represent.
When asked how his campaign would be different, Brown replied:
“I’m taking my campaign to the citizens of Baldwin County by launching an aggressive online presence which is geared towards encouraging grass-roots citizen participation. In addition to traditional campaigning, we will be hosting regular “Virtual Town Hall” meetings that anyone with a computer or phone can participate in from work, home, or in the car.”
When asked, if elected, how he would Represent the citizens differently from his incumbent opponent, Brown replied:
“Unlike my opponent, I am a staunch constitutionalist, who firmly believes that “we the people” are the right choice to lead our government, not the lobbyist and special interest groups. To that end, I will use my years of experiences as a leader and systems engineer to create an environment where every citizen, not just the ones that donated, have the opportunity to participate in the decision making process.”
